Day 2: Fruits of the Spirit: Pray that both you and your future husband are growing in the fruits of the Spirit. The Word clearly states the fruit would be evident. (Matt 7:18-20)
Scriptures: Matt. 7:18-20, Gal 5:22-23, John 15:22, 1Cor 13:4-7
Father God, thank you for this day as I woke up this morning. I just thank you for all the blessings you’ve given me. I thank you for your love and I praise you and bless you! THANK YOU, FATHER! I pray for my future husband and I that we are both growing in the fruits of the Spirit. I pray that you show him and I the things we need to work on before we can be together. I pray that we continue to want to grow ourselves with the help of You, Father God. I pray that you help us sow good fruit, so we can reap those fruits in our relationships with each other and all the people we come across. I pray for our marriage that it is full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I want it all! I pray that my husband is praying for me too. Father God, I pray that we both are healed from past relationships, and I pray to remove any strongholds. Father God, thank you! I just want to thank you so much for doing a work in me and preparing me for my husband, while you prepare him for me too! I love you Jesus! Thank you!
A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. Matthew 7:18-20
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Galatians 5:22-23
They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin. John 15:22
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Activation: Look at yourself in the mirror and declare 3 scriptures over yourself
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
10 Who can find a virtuous and capable wife?
She is more precious than rubies.
11 Her husband can trust her,
and she will greatly enrich his life.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
..to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God. Titus 2:5
The Word is powerful! The Word is living! It holds so much wisdom and truth. Sometimes when I don’t feel my best or the enemy is trying to lie to me, scriptures give you control over those feelings. When I declared these 3 scriptures over myself, I feel loved, complete, whole, perfectly made, a Godly woman, a future wife, and future mother that can live holy with God’s grace.
